Macy's workers OK new contracts

Federated Department Stores Inc. said about 1,500 workers at two of its Macy's stores in San Francisco have approved a four-year labor contract.

The contract includes wage increases in each year and gives employees more flexibility in using vacation time, Federated division Macy's West said. Macy's West operates 144 stores, mostly in the Southwest.

Cincom donates $750,000 in software

Springdale-based Cincom Systems Inc. has donated $750,000 in software to the Ohio University College of Business as part of the university's bicentennial campaign. The donation includes six different software systems that will help OU undergraduates apply business theory to real-life situations, the company said.

Milacron names three new directors

Milacron Inc., the plastics processing equipment and industrial fluids supplier, has named three new directors to replace recently retired board members Harry Hammerly, James Perrella and Joseph Pichler.

Joining the board are Mark Segal, 40, chief financial officer at Spin Master Ltd., in Toronto; Duane Stullich, 35, managing director of FocalPoint Partners, a Los Angeles investment bank; and Larry Yost, 66, retiring chairman and CEO of ArvinMeritor Inc. in Troy, Mich.

The company also said the following were elected officers of the company: Karlheinz Bourdon, 47, president of plastics machinery; David E. Lawrence, 54, president of mold technologies; Robert C. McKee, 52, president of industrial fluids; and M. Bradley Baker, 39, vice president of human resources.

In addition, the following officers were promoted: Robert P. Liensch, 58, was named senior vice president finance, controller and chief financial officer. He adds the duties of controller previously handled by Ross A. Anderson, who was named general manager of North American injection machinery.

Hugh C. O'Donnell, 53, named senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, and John C. Francy, 39, named vice president and treasurer.
