Concert amid sculpture: The Hamilton Fairfield Symphony Orchestra gives a free concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton's Pyramid Sculpture Park, 1763 Hamilton-Cleves Road. The HFSO Chorale joins conductor Paul Stanbery and the orchestra in music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Hamilton arts patron Dave Belew narrates A Reagan Portrait. Casting call: Volunteer extras aged 21 and older are invited to show up at 8 p.m. Saturday at Rum Runners, 620 Scott St., Covington, for a rap-club scene in a feature being shot by Lexington filmmaker Alfred Godfrey. I Am My Brother's Keeper is the story of two siblings struggling to survive after their parents are incarcerated. The production welcomes all races; African-American and Latino extras are required for featured scenes. Contact Gina Freeman at 490-3880.

Film showcase: Innovative artists working in video, film, installations and/or new media are invited to submit works to the second annual AutuMedia showcase at Media Bridges in Over-the-Rhine.

The event is part of 20 Days/20 Nights festival, sponsored by Cincinnati's Enjoy The Arts organization.

AutuMedia will run from 7 p.m. to midnight on Oct. 2 in the large parking lot at Race and Central, across from the Media Bridges headquarters at 1100 Race St. Entry is free.

Calling all winds: Got a budding clarinetist at home? Finally there's a wind ensemble for kids. The Cincinnati Junior Youth Wind Ensemble - the only ensemble of its kind in the area - will take its first bows this fall at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Students who will be in sixth through eighth grades may audition on Sept. 11 and 12 at CCM's Preparatory Department by calling 556-9466. Dr. Ann Porter will conduct the group. The first concert is scheduled for Nov. 21 in Patricia Corbett Theater.

Open house: CCM Prep offers lessons, ensembles and classes for your talented child in music, dance, drama and musical theater. Fall Open House is 9 a.m.-noon, Sept. 11, at CCM on the UC campus. There is a 10 a.m. meeting for those interested in Suzuki piano or string lessons.
