Pomeroy reports double-digit gains
Pomeroy IT Solutions Inc., the Hebron computer sales and service provider, Tuesday reported double-digit gains in second-quarter earnings and revenues. For the three months ended June 30, Pomeroy said net income increased 54 percent to $3.09 million , or 25 cents a share, from $2.01 million or 16 cents a share, a year ago. Revenues rose 21 percent to $178.2 million from $147.4 million a year ago. Last month, Pomeroy completed its largest acquisition, purchasing Illinois-based Alternative Resources Corp. for $46 million, including debt retirement.
Right Track opens new unit in Asia
Rite Track International, a West Chester supplier of track systems for semiconductors, has established an Asian unit and hired Adrian Chew Soon Tok as managing director. He will manage sales, service and logistical operations from offices in Singapore, the company said. "We are continuing to strengthen our ability to serve our worldwide customer base," company president Tim Hayden said.
