FYI
"Nite" returns: Late Nite Catechism is back! The news is so fresh the ink hasn't dried on the contract, and no star has been named, but the "off-Broadway" hit from Broadway in Cincinnati will take advantage of last season's sell-out run in the Aronoff's Jarson-Kaplan Theater for a January 2005 return.
The one-"nun" show that gets the audience in on the act of Catholic school spoofery will play three weeks, Jan. 11-30. Ticket information has not yet been announced.

He's done it again: James Conlon, Cincinnati May Festival maestro, has won another award - this one called the "Pegasus Prize," an award in its 34th year at the Spoleto Festival in Italy. Italian journalists made Conlon this year's winner, announced July 15 in Italy. He was cited for his outstanding artistic skills and his long association with the Spoleto Festival, where he made his operatic debut in 1971. In particular, the jury unanimously recognized Conlon's major contribution to this year's Festival, Viktor Ullmann's opera, The Emperor of Atlantis.
