Ampac Packaging invests in Kapak
Springdale-based Ampac Packaging LLC has invested in Kapak Corp., a Minneapolis maker of flexible pouch packaging. Terms weren't disclosed.
Privately held Ampac, which makes plastic film and retail paper and plastic shopping bags, said Kapak would operate as an independent company under longtime president Gary Bell. Kapak, founded in 1961, employs 92. Ampac, which has five plants in North America and Asia, employs 600.
Law firms among highest-grossing
A listing of the highest grossing law firms includes two in Cincinnati. Frost Brown Todd ranked 158th, with 2003 gross revenue of $112.5 million, on the American Lawyer 200 list. Dinsmore & Shohl ranked 193th with $87 million in gross revenue. The list reported that Frost Brown - which ranked 161st in 2002 - had 356 lawyers, while Dinsmore & Shohl - which didn't make the list in 2002 - had 252 lawyers.
