Winton Terrace man shot dead
OVER THE RHINE - Cincinnati police are investigating a shooting Saturday morning that left a man dead.
William Finch, 26, of Winton Terrace, was shot "several" times at 14th and Vine streets, according to a police report. Finch, pronounced dead at the scene, is the city's 48th homicide victim of the year.

Middletown man killed in crash
MADISON TWP. - A motorcycle crash Saturday morning left a man dead and his female passenger critically injured.
Butler County Sheriff's Office investigators say Christopher Cantwell, 39, of Middletown, was riding his motorcycle along an eastbound curve on State Route 122 at about 1:30 a.m. when he crossed the center line, then struck the guardrail.
Neither Cantwell nor his passenger, Virginia Cantwell, was wearing a helmet.
Man accused of rape at gunpoint
OVER-THE-RHINE - A 37-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at gunpoint Saturday morning, then hitting her on the head with a handgun before fleeing, according to police reports.
Charles Clark, whom police said they found hiding in a refrigerator in the 2200 block of Loth Street, faces charges of rape and felonious assault.
Fairfield teen dies after fight
FAIRFIELD - A fight between juveniles Thursday night on Danube Drive left one 17-year-old boy dead and another in police custody.
Fairfield police responded to the fight at 7:30 p.m. and found 17-year-old Brandon Mitchell of Fairfield with "severe" injuries. He was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he later died.
A second 17-year-old male, from Springfield Township, was arrested and is being held in the Butler County Juvenile Detention Center.
Police said he was charged "in the death," but were not specific about the charges. They are not releasing his name.
Woman killed in head-on crash
A head-on collision Thursday night in Green Township left a woman dead.
Charles Glacking III, 24, was driving a 1995 Acura Legend on Ebenezer Road around 11 p.m. when he crossed the center line and hit Cheri Mueller's 1992 Chevrolet Lumina, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's office.
Mueller was wearing a seat belt but was pronounced dead at the scene. Glacking, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by helicopter to University Hospital, where he is in fair condition.
