The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, with support from sponsors such as Tramonte & Sons Distributors and American Airlines, hosted a Wine Opener at Pendleton Art Center in Over-the-Rhine.

Chaired by Bethany Rustic, the event allowed more than 300 guests to view the works of local artists while sampling wine and food. Select wines were paired with top gourmet delights prepared by participating restaurants and catering firms, including Sturkey's, Poppies Deli, Kona Bistro, J's Fresh Seafood and Absolutely 4 Food.

Guests were invited to tour the Pendleton artists' studios and to bid on works.

Net profits for the evening are expected to reach $15,000.
