Ron Baker Photo gets bigger studio
WEST END - A commercial photographer has moved his expanding business into office and studio space in the David Shoe Building.
The new location provides Ron Baker Photography with a loading dock and freight elevator that allows Baker to transport equipment directly into his 3,700-square-foot studio.
"The 2,000-square-foot shooting space provides ample area for building large room sets and multiple-shot setups," Baker explained. "We provide commercial photography for use in advertising and corporate communications."
Ron Baker Photography offers full-service digital and film capture and can shoot either at the new location, 1665 Central Ave., or at a site specified by the client.

Correction
Folks who tried to respond to a recent Business Notes item about free pizza lunches offered by APICS are probably still hungry. This professional association for resource management changed its contact telephone number at about the time the column ran. The correct number is below.
"The local APICS chapter has about 600 members, but the organization is relatively unknown to the many companies that could potentially benefit from its programs," said board member Ron Althaus. "To overcome this awareness issue, the local APICS chapter is offering a free lunch for up to 12 employees at any organization that desires to hear a 30-minute presentation about the various APICS programs and educational opportunities."
