Fifth Third, with 16 branches and $830 million in deposits in Florida, will offer several relief programs for customers affected by Hurricane Charley.
The Cincinnati-based bank, whose Florida headquarters is based in Naples, said that as part of Fifth Third's disaster relief programs customers affected by the hurricane may be able to:
Receive reduced-rate home equity loans without closing costs.
Extend or revise their home loans with lower closing costs.
Get a reduced interest rate for business loans for working capital, construction or remodeling.
Take out money with no early withdrawal fees.
The Fifth Third Foundation has made two $25,000 emergency relief grants. One will go the Collier County Chapter of the American Red Cross in Naples, and the other to the Lee County Salvation Army in Fort Myers.
