Last Minute

Free movies: Showcase Cinemas Cincinnati Mills, formerly Showcase Cinemas Forest Fair, marks the grand reopening of the shopping center at I-275 and Gilmore Road today with free movies from noon to midnight. Titles include Mean Girls, Van Helsing and The Prince & Me. Tickets must be picked up at the box office beginning at 11 a.m.; no online or phone orders will be offered.

Bolling open late: The Annie Bolling Gallery in M. Willis Interiors is expanding its hours to 9 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, starting today. With its new restaurant neighbor, Jean-Robert's Pho Paris, opening this week, the Oakley gallery hopes diners will be enticed to come in and look around. 3235 Madison Road, 871-2100. Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Sunday.

CAC changes hours, prices: There will be new hours and prices at the Contemporary Arts Center beginning Sept. 1. Hours: 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Mondays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Closed Tuesdays. Mondays from 5-9 p.m. will remain free.

The center says it's changing prices to be aligned with other national museums. New prices are: $7.50 adults, $6.50 seniors (65 and over), $5.50 students with ID and $4.50 children ages 3-13. Members and children under 3 are free. Information: www.contemporaryartscenter.org or 345-8400.

Celtic fest movies: Irish theater will be a big part of this year's Cincinnati Celtic World Festival on Sept. 25-26 at Coney Island. New Gate Theater will offer one-acts, including Last Epitaph of a Wise Man, a volatile racial drama just premiered at the Milwaukee Irish Fest. The Irish American Theatre has formed to produce Bill Williams' musical revue Maggie Murphy's Home; and Irish actor Neil O'Shea will offer his one-man show The Irish Writers Entertain, from Oscar Wilde to Jonathan Swift.
