Here are the tax issues on the Nov. 2 ballot. "Raises" indicates the amount of money the tax would generate each year; "cost" is what the tax would mean to the owner of a $100,000 home.

HAMILTON COUNTY

Countywide issues

Drake Center Inc. and drug/alcohol addiction programs: 0.84-mill, five-year levy. Raises: $16 million Cost: $25 (up from $24 now)

Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities: 3.62-mill, five-year levy. Raises: $67.6 million Cost: $107 (up from $76 now)

School issues

Cincinnati Public: 10.14-mill, five-year emergency renewal levy for operating expenses. Raises: $65 million Cost: no increase over current $300 tax.

Deer Park: 7.63-mill additional levy for operating expenses and 1-mill continuing levy for building repairs and maintenance. Raises: $1.9 million Cost: $264.

Finneytown: 7.95-mill additional continuing levy for operating expenses. Raises: $1.7 million. Cost: $234.

Northwest: 4.75-mill continuing operating levy and a 1-mill levy for building repairs and maintenance. Raises: $8.6 million. Cost: $170.

Reading: 6.9-mill continuing operating levy. Raises: $1.4 million. Cost: Not available.

Sycamore: 5.5-mill, five-year operating levy. Raises: $8.7 million. Cost: $168.

Three Rivers: 5.95-mill, five-year operating levy. Raises: $2.3 million. Cost: $174.

Winton Woods: 6.95-mill continuing levy for daily operations and 1-mill continuing levy for building repairs and maintenance. Raises $3.9 million. Cost: $243.

Addyston: 2-mill, five-year fire levy. Raises: $83,000 Cost: Not available.

Cheviot: 4.25-mill, five-year operating levy. Raises: $518,000 Cost: $95.

Talawanda: 1 percent income tax for day-to-day operations. Raises: $3.9 million Cost: Varies by income coffers.

Municipal issues

Middletown: Increase earnings tax by 16 percent, from 1.5 percent to 1.75 percent, for capital improvements and roads. Council dropped another 0.25 percent increase for operating expenses on Tuesday. Raises: $3 million. Cost: Varies by income.

Monroe: Increase earnings tax by 50 percent, from 1 to 1.5 percent, which was defeated by voters Aug. 2. Raises: $1.5 million. Cost: Varies by income.
