EAST END - A 24-year-old man was shot in the abdomen at Annie's night club early Sunday. Police were unable to find a weapon.
Police did not release the name of the man shot inside the East End bar at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, but authorities said the man's wound was not fatal. No arrests had been made Sunday.
Police arrest two on drug charges
COLLEGE HILL - Police seized nearly a kilogram of crack cocaine and more than $2,000 in cash early Sunday and arrested two men on drug trafficking charges.
Not long after midnight, police near the 1100 block of Atwood Avenue watched a suspicious interaction between David Duke, 28, of Mount Airy, and Cedric Lewis, 23, whose address was not available. Police arrested the two and reported finding 900 grams of crack, three 9mm Ruger pistols and $2,400 cash on them. Both men were charged with drug trafficking and weapons possession.
Trenton man charged in shooting incident
MIDDLETOWN - Police arrested a Trenton man in connection with a shooting Saturday.
At 11:14 p.m., police converged on the 3200 block of Roosevelt Boulevard, where they found Keith Kahl, 46, of Middletown, with a gunshot wound to the head. Doctors at Middletown Regional Hospital treated Kahl for what police called a superficial wound. He was released from the hospital.
Law enforcement officials were led to the home of Richard Dirk Carpenter, 35, of Trenton. Carpenter was charged with felonious assault.
