'Survivor' star will drop puck

Rupert Boneham, "America's Favorite Survivor," is scheduled to appear at Cincinnati Gardens Oct. 24 when the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks face the Rochester Americans at 5:05 p.m.

Boneham will drop the ceremonial first puck, sign autographs for some fans and participate in events during intermission between periods.

Boneham originally finished eighth on Survivor: Pearl Islands and as a result of his popularity was a contestant on Survivor: All-Stars. After a fourth-place finish on that series, the Indianapolis native was voted America's Favorite Survivor, receiving 85 percent of the 38 million on-line votes cast to win a $1 million prize.

Information: Mighty Ducks Ticket Sales Department at (513) 351-3999.
