The Official Guide to the 2004 Republic National Convention, which opens Monday in New York, features cover artwork by Cincinnati native Daniel Greene. Now a New Yorker, Greene is represented here by the Miller Gallery in Hyde Park Square.
The cover art, which will be seen by nearly 5,000 delegates and alternates, is a composite of Greene's series of 75 paintings featuring the mosaic tiles from New York's subway stations.
The subway series is among Greene's most popular and well-known work.
