Promotions and new on the job
Ping Jen has joined the Mayfield Clinic as senior business manager in the University of Cincinnati Department of Neurosurgery. Jen comes to Mayfield from Temple University in Philadelphia, where he was a financial systems manager at the health science center office of systems and finance. He received his master's degree in finance at Drexel University in Philadelphia and a second master's degree, in management information systems, from the University of Notre Dame. He is responsible for managing grant development and submissions and for developing a clinical database.
Todd Fischer has been named director of sales at Clark Steel Framing.
Pam McDonald has been named vice president of public affairs for the Cincinnati division at Time Warner Cable.
John Bambeck has joined the forward-thinking management team at AllOver Media-Cincinnati as director of sports and arena sales. Bambeck will focus on attracting venue partners and advertisers for AllOver Media's indoor advertising products and services. He has worked in advertising and sales for nearly 12 years, most recently as a sales representative for D and D Enterprises in Cincinnati. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
John T. Crotty, managing partner of CroBern Management Partnership LLP, and retired president and chief executive officer of CroBern Inc., has been appointed to the board of directors at Omnicare Inc.
Johnathan E. Cody has joined Bentley Koepke Inc., a Cincinnati landscape architectural design firm, as an associate landscape architect. Cody holds a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from the University of Kentucky and a bachelor's degree in economics from Centre College.
The University of Cincinnati Foundation has named Pat Branam as senior director of development for the UC College of Arts and Sciences, and Mike Volan as director of development for the UC College of Law.
Anne Sargeant has been named assistant account manager at Strata-G Communications. Sargeant is responsible for assisting with the management and implementation of marketing communications programs for agency clients. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor's degree in marketing. She was an intern at Strata-G and BuyCastings.com, an online e-marketplace in the metal castings industry.
Tom Flottman, chief executive officer of the Flottman Co., has been named to the Goering Center Advisory Board.
