Hundreds of thousands are expected to attend Sunday's Third Federal Riverfest and the 2004 Toyota WEBN Fireworks. Here are tips to enhance the enjoyment of the day:
Riverfest begins at noon and the fireworks begin at 9:30. p.m. Both events are free.
Metro and Tank will offer shuttles to and from Riverfest. Simply drive to one of seven park-and-ride locations (four in Ohio and three in Northern Kentucky) and catch the shuttle to the festivities.
Metro Riverfest Express is $4 round trip. Fareboxes do not make change and do not accept bills larger than $10. Shuttles begin at 2 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. Return trips begin immediately after the fireworks. Pay attention to the dropoff location and return there to catch the homebound shuttle. For information call MetroCenter at 621-4455. MetroCenter will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
Riverfest Express locations:
Union Township Civic Center Park & Ride, 4350 Aicholtz Road, Clermont County
Raymond Walters College, 9555 Plainfield Road, Blue Ash.
Western Hills Plaza, 6100 Glenway Ave., Westwood.
