MOUNT HEALTHY - General Electric Aircraft Engines is donating two computers and $2,362 to the staff and students at New Burlington Elementary, 10268 Burlington Road, to buy school supplies.
Jeanne Rosario, a GE vice president and general manager, will present Principal Bob Kelly a check this morning.
The presentation will be followed by a performance by the Dazzling Mills Family, a school assembly that features juggling, unicycles and family values.
St. Ursula Ensemble sponsors car wash
EAST WALNUT HILLS - The St. Ursula Academy Ensemble Theater School will sponsor a car wash from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in front of the St. Ursula Fine Arts Building at East McMillan and Upland Place.

Turpin holds open house for parents
ANDERSON TWP. - Turpin High School will hold an open house for parents of current students at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the school, 2650 Bartels Road.
The event begins with the introduction of administrative staff in the Turpin Auditorium, followed by a brief PTA meeting. From 7:25-9:20 p.m., parents may visit classrooms.

Virtual Academy plans info session
WEST CHESTER TWP. - The Ohio Virtual Academy is holding a parent information session from 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Wingate Inn and Meridian Conference Center, 7500 Tylers Place Blvd.A publicly funded community school, OHVA has grades K-8. Students are educated at home or in small groups using the Internet and traditional teaching materials.

LaSalle Homecoming honors '60s players
MONFORT HEIGHTS - La Salle High School, 3091 North Bend Road, will hold its 41st Homecoming Sept. 17. Festivities include a football game with Gahanna Lincoln and a stag in the cafeteria after the game.
Alumni will have an opportunity to tour the school's new wing. Athletes who played football during the 1960s will be honored during pre-game festivities.

Host families sought in exchange program
The Aspect Foundation of San Francisco is seeking volunteer host families for the Future Leaders Exchange Program, an international exchange student program.
The program provides an opportunity for high school students from the former Soviet Union to experience life in a democratic society.
