Promotions and new on the job

• Peggy Rilling has joined Star One Realtors as relocation director, vice president. Rilling has been a professional in the Greater Cincinnati region since 1989. She is the past president and board member of the Greater Cincinnati Relocation Council and remains a current member.

• Matt Olson has joined Paycor Inc. as training manager and Tom Fitzsimmons, controller for the Cincinnati office.

• John Lind has been named senior tax manager at J.D. Cloud & Co. L.L.P., Janna Fitzwater, accounting and audit manager and Krista Huser, senior accountant.

• Jason Buero has joined ThermalTech Engineering, as mechanical engineer.

• Frank Twehues has joined Foresight Civil Engineering & Surveying, LLC as civil engineer.

• Linda Burchett has joined Northlich as senior media planner/buyer; Kelli Johnson, assistant account manager; John Kompa, management supervisor, public relations division; Libby Korosec, management supervisor, public relations division; Chris Trusock joined BrandStorm, a division of Northlich, as senior project director; Katie Wallace joined Northlich's consumer public relations practice as a senior account manager; and David Wesselman joined the creative department as a digital designer.

• Bob Flynn has been named director of the Verizon Wireless stores in Cincinnati. Flynn has worked for Verizon Wireless for 15 years. He graduated from Franklin University with a bachelor's degree.

• Shawn V. Brockhoeft has joined Bob Parsons Allstate Agency as an agent with Allstate Insurance Co. in Edgewood.

• Patrick R. Hughes, partner in the law firm of Deters, Benzinger & LaVelle, has been appointed to the board of trustees of Family Service of Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky.

• Martin W. Flesher has joined Fort Washington Investment Advisors Inc. as regional business development director. Flesher received his bachelor's degree from Miami University and his master's degree from Xavier University.

• Diane Carr has joined the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA), as events manager and Nancy L. Brown has been named director of events.

• Edward V. Allen has been appointed president of the packaging services at Multi-Color Corp.

• Jeremy Morrison has joined LPK (Libby Perszyk Kathman as design delineator, Scott Niedzwecki as industrial designer, Peter Borowski, senior design director and Kirsten Kollerie as project leader.

• Art Crawford has joined Industrial Vibration Consultants (IVC) as senior consultant.

• Anthony C. Perry has been named director of purchasing at AK Steel. Perry holds a bachelor's degree from Bluefield State College in West Virginia.

• Dan Druffel Inc. Landscaping has received two state awards for a home located in Hyde Park - a Grand Award and a Merit Award. Dan Druffel Inc. has been landscaping in Hyde Park area for 34 years.

• The MAIDS Home Services, a professional residential cleaning service in Cincinnati, owned by Harold and Margie Hall has received the President's Club Award at the company's annual convention.

• James L. Besier, assistant director of pharmacy for the St. Luke Hospitals in Northern Kentucky, has been selected for inclusion in Who's Who in Medicine and Health care, 2004-2005.

New businesses

• Memorable Meetings, a service of David J. Richardson Inc., specializing in hotel research, site selection, on-site meeting management, and meeting entertainment, has opened its new Ohio-based sales office.
