GE Engine Services' repair shop in Wales has been designated the first service center for the Engine Alliance's new GP7200 engine that will power the Airbus A380.
The Engine Alliance is a 50-50 partnership of GE Transportation aircraft engines and the Pratt & Whitney unit of United Technologies Inc. The GE Wales facility will offer overhaul and repair services for the GP7200 slated to enter service in 2006 on an A380 ordered by Emirates Airlines.
Argentina's envoy to address group
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cincinnati will hold its annual dinner Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Millennium Hotel in downtown Cincinnati. CLARIFICATION: Ad in photo not under scrutiny
A photo in Saturday's Business section showing the Better Business Bureau's Jason McGlone cutting out an advertisement as part of his duties mistakenly appeared to portray an ad as suspicious.
CORRECTION: Blitzer has office in Finneytown
The offices of certified public accountant Darryl Blitzer, quoted in a story in Saturday's Business section, are in Finneytown.
