READING - Reading Community Schools residents are invited to a levy kick-off rally on Wednesday in Reading Memorial Stadium.
The rally will begin at 7 p.m.; gates open at 6:30. The program will provide information about the levy on the Nov. 2 ballot.
Reading is seeking a $1.4 million continuing operating levy for daily operations. The owner of a $100,000 home would pay an additional $203 annually. District voters rejected a levy in March.
Counselors asked to share ideas
LEBANON - The Elementary Counselor and Resource Coordinators of the Warren County Area will hold a fall get-together from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday at Franklin Schools' Hampton Bennett Building, 150 E. Sixth St.
Attendees are asked to bring one idea, resource, program information or form to share with the group before discussion of general topics.

Family festival at Oak Hills High
BRIDGETOWN - The Oak Hills Athletic Boosters will sponsor the annual Family Festival from Friday through Sunday at Oak Hills High School, 3200 Ebenezer Road. Amusement rides, games, food and other attractions are planned. The event is open to the public. Hours are 6-11 p.m. Friday; 3-11 p.m. Saturday and 1-8 p.m. Sunday.
Four to join Madeira athletic hall of fame
MADEIRA - The Madeira High School Athletic Hall of Fame will induct four members in ceremonies Friday at halftime of the football game with Wyoming at Madeira Stadium.
Inducted are George Atkins (1983-87), Diana Boehnlein (1988-92), Chuck Graft (1957-61) and Ed Greenert (1943-47). Graft, who died in 1984, will be inducted posthumously.
Activities will begin with a buffet for the new inductees, their family and friends, along with current Hall of Fame members, outside the stadium at 6 p.m.
The Athletic Hall of Fame is sponsored by the Madeira High Athletic Boosters and inducts new members each fall at a home football game. The hall inducted its first class in 1991 and now has 68 members.
Cornhole tourney at St. Aloysius
SAYLER PARK - St. Aloysius on-the-Ohio School, Gracely Drive at River Road, is holding a cornhole tournament at 6:30 p.m. Saturday (rain date, Sunday). Food, beer and games will be available and the event is open to the public.
Entry fee is $35 per team and the prize money will be awarded based on number of entries. Participants must be 21 or older. Proceeds benefit the school.

Homecoming Friday at La Salle High
MONFORT HEIGHTS - La Salle High School, 3091 North Bend Road, will hold its 41st homecoming Friday. The football game is with Gahanna Lincoln in Lancer Stadium and a dance in the cafeteria follows.
Alumni can tour the school's new wing. Athletes who played football during the 1960s will be honored during the pre-game festivities.
