'Ladies Night' helps Ky. Children's Home

A "Ladies Night Out" shopping spree sponsored by the junior board of the Children's Home of Northern Kentucky with appetizers, a cash bar and a raffle, will be 6-10 p.m. Friday at Five Seasons Country Club.

Doll show: A doll show with antiques, reproductions, modern bears, miniatures and doll-related accessories will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at Receptions South in Erlanger. The Triple Crown Doll Club, organizers of the show, will also have a raffle of a reproduction Bleuette and Kailey, an American Girl doll. 1379 Donaldson Road. $3 adults, $1 under 12. Slimmer event: Playtex launches its new Secret Slimmers 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Lazarus-Macy's, Kenwood Towne Centre. Shoppers will get a $3 gift card that can be redeemed for any Playtex Secrets bra and can register to win a $1,000 gift card.

Style show: New and vintage fashions from April Cornell, art handbags from Mary Frances and jewelry by Patricia Locke will be part of a luncheon and style show 11:30 Saturday to benefit the Warren County Historical Society Museum and Glendower, the Greek Revival home and grounds. The museum will be open at 9 a.m. for tours. $25 in advance at (513) 932-1817.

Benefit show: Arte of Hyde Park will have an informal luncheon and fashion show of its designers to benefit Every Child Succeeds at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Queen City Club, downtown. Jewelry designer Liz Krinsky will be featured. Reservations: 841-2783.
