The Enquirer
Four young people were taken to hospitals Tuesday afternoon after a sport-utility vehicle went out of control in the 1200 block of Wolfangel Road in Anderson Township and struck a 13-year-old on a bicycle and two 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old on foot, sheriff's deputies said.
After striking the juveniles, the Blazer driven by Gerald McCormack, 62, of the 7600 block of Cathedral Hill Drive, rear-ended another car and involved two others in a chain-reaction wreck, deputies said.
One of the juveniles was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. The others were treated at Mercy Hospital Anderson.
Deputies said McCormack was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
