Our 'Apprentice 2' panel predicts: Who'll be the next to go?

By Lauren Bishop
Enquirer staff writer

Last week on the season premiere of The Apprentice 2, Donald Trump fired Rob after saying he didn't contribute enough to his team's effort to design a toy for Mattel. Tonight, Team Apex and Team Mosaic must develop a new flavor of gelato and sell it around Manhattan.

Our Apprentice analysts give us the scoop on what they think might happen (The Apprentice 2 airs at 9:20 p.m. on Channels 5, 2):

Aaron Baba, 42, Reading: The field is so crowded now that it is difficult to predict who is likely to go far. However, the initial friction between Andy and Pamela of Team Mosaic is likely to result in one or both of them being fired earlier than the others.

Douglas Browning, 35, Anderson Township: I believe Maria has the opportunity to make a run deep into the show, as well as Pamela. Stacie J. totally lost control and made a fool of herself at Mattel. Even if she can redeem herself on the next show, she made a large enough impact on me that I would fire her. Stacy R. had zero presence and didn't say a word.

Brooke Goode, 34, Milford: The Great Gatsby, I mean Raj, will fall apart on the first project that involves getting his hands dirty. I think Maria, Ivana, John, Sandy and Chris are strong contenders. Here are the people I think will go fast: Stacie J. (she'll be leaving on the crazy train from Grand Central pretty soon), Jennifer C. and John.

Nicole McWhorter, 30, Clifton: I really like Pamela, but I think that she was set up to fail when she was teamed with a whole group of men. She seems strong enough to handle them, but I know that I would have wanted another female in the group just to balance things a bit. ---
