Today at MidPoint

Today's MidPoint Music Festival highlights:

We're blogging

•  9 p.m.: Gold Coast Refuse (Chicago). A potent blend of Americana, British Mod and Southern rock that's been compared to early Wilco. Mr. Pitiful's, 1323 Main St.

•  10 p.m.: Denovo (Columbus). Angular, aggressive post punk that doesn't skimp on hooks. The Cavern Upstairs, 1120 Walnut St.

•  11 p.m.: Abiyah (below, Cincinnati). A set of all-new songs from the cross-genre queen and her guests, which include DJ DQ and Paperback. RBC, 1142 Main St.

•  Midnight: Lucid Grey (Lexington). Heavy rock that's both melodic and hard-edged. Jekyll & Hyde's, 1140 Main St.

•  1 a.m.: Twelve Pearls (Oklahoma City, Okla.) These adrenaline-pumped rockers are huge in their home state. Jefferson Hall, 1150 Main St.
