Today at MidPoint

Here are today's MidPoint Music Festival highlights:

We're blogging

• 9 p.m.: Dawn Kinnard (State College, Pa.). The singer-songwriter weaves Americana-inflected tales of her motorcycle rides down desolate country roads. BarrelHouse, 22 E. 12th St.

• 10 p.m.: Infinite Number of Sounds (Cleveland). This electro-rock band performs with an ever-changing backdrop - digital imagery edited on the spot. Lava, 835 Main St.

• 11 p.m.: Staggering Statistics (Cincinnati). This is former Afghan Whigs bassist John Curley's band. Curley's also the owner of Ultrasuede Studio. Crush, 825 Main St.

• Midnight: Freekbass (right, Cincinnati). He's Bootsy Collins' protege - you can't get a stronger seal of funk approval than that. 1120 Upstairs, 1120 Jackson St.

• 1 a.m.: Waterproof Blonde (Louisville). These hook-obsessed modern rockers wrote the theme song for WWE wrestler Sean O'Haire. Really.

Jekyll & Hyde's, 1140 Main St.
