To celebrate the bicentennial of Cincinnati's Betts House in the West End, a garden luncheon was chaired by Diantha Patterson. More than 50 guests each purchased $25 tickets to enjoy a buffet lunch topped off with a birthday cake.
The Betts House is Ohio's oldest brick home.
Guests took the opportunity to tour the house and exhibit, A Changing Cultural Landscape in the West End, a collection of photos, text and maps depicting changes that have occurred in the neighborhood.
Among the many members of the bicentennial luncheon committee members were Melody Sawyer Richardson, David Patterson, Sally and Michael Connelly, Cathy and Tom Huenefeld, Walter Langsam and Julie and Noah Fleischman.
