A puppy - a Bijon Fris donated by PetLand of Florence - was the hit of the auction at the Northern Kentucky Women's Cancer Coalition fund-raising dinner at Drees Pavilion in Covington's DeVou Park.
The evening, sponsored by St. Elizabeth Medical Center, St. Luke Hospital and Jeff Thomas Catering, hosted more than 200 guests. Chairwoman was coalition president Janet Moxley. Vice president Amy Wilson was co-chair. U.S. Rep. Ken Lucas was emcee. The event raised approximately $25,000.
