Planning on voting? Sign-up ends today
By Matt Leingang

Get to it, already. Today is the deadline to register to vote.
Voter interest in this election is running high. Hamilton County has signed up more than 62,000 new voters since January. Other counties also report a surge in registrations.
Who's eligible? Anyone 18 years old on or before the day of the general election. If you live in Greater Cincinnati, here's what you need to know to fulfill your civic duty Nov. 2:
You can pick up a registration form in any neighborhood library, any Bureau of Motor Vehicles office, high school, vocational school or your county board of elections. It takes five minutes to fill out.
In Kentucky, you can register to vote by downloading the Kentucky voter registration card at www.kysos.com/include/registermenu.asp, filling out the form and mailing it in.
Ohio's form is not available online. But a downloadable Federal Election Commission form can be found at www.fec.gov/votregis/vr.htm. This form can be used by anyone wishing to register to vote, regardless of what state you live in.
With any registration form, make sure it's postmarked today and mail it to your county board of elections or the secretary of state's office. Addresses are on the form.
