Chamber Raves continue: You still have three chances to catch the Cincinnati Chamber Music Society's Chamber Raves, a series of free lunchtime chamber music concerts around town. The Pro Art String Quartet will perform today at Kenwood Towne Centre, Friday at Fountain Square, and Saturday at Newport on the Levee. The concerts begin at noon.
Leno in town: Miami University's traditionally big Parents' Weekend, is a little bigger this year thanks to an appearance by Jay Leno of The Tonight Show. He'll do one show at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Millett Hall. Only single tickets are left ($38); call (513) 529-3200 or visit www.tickets.muohio.edu You can go even if you're not a parent, as long as tickets are available.

Scrabble on screen: Word Wars: Tiles and Tribulations on the Scrabble Circuit, a light-hearted documentary, screens at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Friday at Cincinnati Art Museum, Eden Park. Tickets are $8, or $6 for art museum and Cincinnati Film Society members. (513) 251-6060.

Alteractive discussions: Alteractive speaks, the new series of panel discussions and performances focusing on issues of interest to Cincinnati residents, continues at 7 p.m. Monday with Terry Grundy, community liaison for United Way, and Des Bracey, Over-the-Rhine project manager for Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC), talking about Over-the-Rhine at Playhouse in the Park. The series continues Mondays through Nov. 15. For reservations and information, call the box office at (513) 421-3888. Coffee 'n' politics: Kaldi's (1204 Main St., Over-the-Rhine) is serving up a side order of politics along with its coffee from now until Election Day. Every Monday it will show a free, politically themed movie. The schedule: Fahrenheit 9/11 shows Monday; Bush's Brain, Oct. 18; Liberty Bound, Oct 25; and Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry, Nov. 1. All shows are 8 p.m. A full menu and full service bar will be available during the screenings.

Ghost story: Ensemble Theatre (1127 Vine St., downtown) will present the premiere of Robert Lewis Vaughan's Thirty Ghosts beginning Wednesday. The "hip, contemporary ghost story," about a journalist who writes a magazine cover story about a baseball player who is killed by a crazed fan following the article's publication, will run through Oct. 31.
