Six months since soldier kidnapped
Today marks six months since Spc. Keith Matthew Maupin, a 2001 graduate of Glen Este High School, was kidnapped during an insurgent attack in Iraq. Family members plan to have a private prayer circle today and ask others to pray for Maupin's safe return.
Ex-cop reenacts shooting on TV
A former Cincinnati police officer critically wounded in 1998 by a suspect who shot at her helped re-enact the incident Friday morning for a future Discovery Health channel program. Katy Conway, who retired after the February 1998 shooting, portrayed herself in the filming. Conway, was shot four times in the hips, leg and side by Daniel Williams. She returned fire, killing him.
