Vice President Dick Cheney will visit Batavia Township today, rallying an expected 3,000 Republicans at the Clermont County Airport.
Tickets were distributed over the weekend.
Cheney is expected to speak at 2 p.m. The doors will open at 11 a.m. to ticket holders and close at 1 p.m, said Clermont County Republican Chairman Tim Rudd.
Meanwhile, one of John Kerry's daughters came to Cincinnati on Sunday, continuing the emphasis that both campaigns are putting on Ohio.
Vanessa Kerry, 27, a third-year student at Harvard Medical School, rallied local supporters at the Kerry-Edwards campaign headquarters in East Walnut Hills.
Later, Kerry attended a brunch with members of the 2004 Olympic gold-medal winning women's national soccer team at Simone's restaurant on Madison Road. She then made a short trip to Oakley to read books to children at Blue Manatee Children's Bookstore.
Kerry said she is taking a break from school to campaign full time for her father. Her visit was arranged by local members of Women for Kerry.
"About 22 million unmarried women didn't vote in the last presidential election," Kerry said. "In this election, that's a big group of new voters whose support could be very important in this swing state."
Holly Brians Ragusa, a coordinator for Women for Kerry, said the group will host a rally at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sawyer Point downtown.
