Quesadillas, in many variations, are popular restaurant appetizers. In addition to the ones at Carol's on Main, downtown, and Wild Bill's Cafe in Lebanon (see recipes below), the Enquirer's Polly Campbell suggests:
• Grilled chicken quesadilla with brie, bacon, caramelized onion and roasted apples ($6.99) at Baxter's Eatery in Blue Ash and Springdale.
• Shrimp quesadilla with fresh cilantro sour cream and a tomato-corn salsa from Kona Bistro ($6.50) in Oakley and Oxford.
• Four kinds of quesadillas, including one filled with cheese, spinach and mushrooms ($6.99), at Margarita's (downtown, Forest Park, Erlanger and Florence)
