Senate foes set to debate

The Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, WCPO-TV (Channel 9), League of Women Voters of the Cincinnati Area and the Enquirer have announced that U.S. Sen. George Voinovich and State Sen. Eric Fingerhut will have their only live-audience debate for the Senate on Friday, Oct. 22.
The debate will be at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in downtown Cincinnati.
It will be taped in the Freedom Center's theater and broadcast at 8 p.m. that day on Channel 9. WCPO-TV, the primary media sponsor of the event, will make the broadcast available to statewide and national media outlets for simulcast or for rebroadcast at later times.
The debate will be moderated by Channel 9 news anchor Clyde Gray.
