Cincinnati's Dress for Success' annual luncheon and fashion show, "Women on the Move ... Today's Women Dressed for Success," was in the ballroom of downtown's Westin Hotel.
Chaired by Shelley Goering, the afternoon drew 430 guests, at $50-$100 per ticket. The day featured lunch, fashion show and a raffle that included passes to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. Fashion stylist Bette Sherman discussed fashion history and the hottest looks for today.
The event committee included Sherman, Sherie Marek, Mary Ellen Cody, Digi Schueler, Joyce Re, Barbara Hahn, Rita Fitner and Shelby Wood. Sponsors included Cincinnati Magazine and Len and Sherie Marek.
Proceeds help support Dress for Success, which helps low-income women making transitions into the workplace dress and accessorize appropriately for job interviews.
