OSU's Zwick throws, but Smith will start

COLUMBUS - Injured Ohio State quarterback Justin Zwick threw on the side but did not take any snaps during practice Wednesday.
Coach Jim Tressel said Zwick is making progress but still had some pain from a shoulder injury sustained in Saturday's 33-7 defeat at Iowa.
Troy Smith got around 80 percent of the snaps in practice, with third-stringer Todd Boeckman the other 20 percent.
"He (Justin) got a little work, but if we were playing today, Troy would be our guy and Todd got all the second reps," Tressel said.
Zwick injured his left, non-throwing shoulder. He has started every Ohio State game this season, although Smith played almost half of the game at Iowa.
Zwick has struggled in his first season as starter with six interceptions against five touchdown passes.
Tressel said he felt Zwick would have to get in a full day of practice today if he were to be available to play Saturday against Indiana.
Off to its worst start in years, Ohio State has decided to cut off media access to its younger players.
The Buckeyes' seniors went to Tressel last week and asked that he no longer permit underclassmen to talk to reporters. Usually, reporters can request almost any player for a brief interview after Tuesday's practice.
Ohio State is 0-3 in the Big Ten for only the second time since 1943.
WYOMING-COLORADO STATE: Wyoming's presence has been felt at Hughes Stadium, days before the team's road game against Colorado State.
Vandals entered the stadium this week and spray-painted "UW" on the field in letters 30 feet high and 75 feet wide.
Wyoming and Colorado State are only 45 miles apart, and this year's version of "The Border War" will be televised nationally Friday night.
