Halloween rock treats
Trick or treaters in skeleton costumes won't be the only ones shaking, rattling and rolling on Halloween weekend. Here's the scoop on some of the holiday-themed rock shows around the area:
Cavalcade Masquerade of Stars: Paperback performs as the Violent Femmes and Patient Zero performs as Spinal Tap on Friday; Wojo performs as R.E.M. and Grand Oversoul performs as Jefferson Airplane on Saturday. Benefit concert for Community CATS: Performances by the Newbees, the Shirts and 500 Miles to Memphis. Costume contest. 9:30 p.m. Friday.
