Seven companies were honored recently by the Forest Park Economic Development Commission for their contributions to the climate for business development in the Hamilton County community.
Awards were presented Wednesday to:
Cincinnati Mills, the redeveloped mall that opened in August with 200 stores.
DBS Trading Inc., a pharmaceutical distributor that employs about 70 workers.
Faxon Machining, which completed a $5 million, 71,000-square-foot addition to its corporate campus in 2004.
Forest Park Restaurant, a longtime fixture in the community.
Kingdom Family Dentistry, which expanded its offices in 2003.
National Bedding/Serta, which invested $5.5 million to build a 149,000-square-foot site for its manufacturing operations.
Union Central Insurance and Investment, Forest Park's largest employer.
