Local 'Investigations': Look for Mandy McMillian on Medical Investigations Friday (10 p.m., Channel 5). The 29-year-old Simon Kenton High School grad from Independence is making her network TV debut.
The West Coast resident has already appeared in commercials for Tylenol Cold Medicine, Office Depot, Buick, Six Flags, Charles Schwab and Hidden Valley Ranch, but this is her first dramatic role. You'll see her at the show's opening, a bridal shower scene where she gives the bride-to-be some sexy lingerie, then discovers her a few minutes later sick unto death and lying on the bathroom floor. After McMillian gives a good yelp, the Medical Investigations team - a cross between ER and CSI - tries to find out what's ailing the bride.
