Singer Solange Knowles, little sister of Beyonce, has given birth to a baby boy, according to her publicist.
Knowles, 18, gave birth in Los Angeles to Daniel Julez J. Smith on Oct. 18, said Marcus R. Harris of Music World-Sanctuary, which manages Knowles, Beyonce and other artists.
"The whole family is very excited about their new gift of life," Harris said Tuesday.
Knowles wed Daniel Smith, a college football player, in a ceremony in the Bahamas in February.
She released her debut CD, Solo Star, last year.
