Newman, Fraser campaign at UC
The Enquirer
Actors Paul Newman and Brendan Fraser will campaign for John Kerry today at a University of Cincinnati event. The UC College Democrats will air the film Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry at 1 p.m. at the Tangeman University Center. The two actors, who are not in the documentary, will talk to the audience, as will the film's director, George Butler, and author Douglas Brinkley, who wrote the book Tour of Duty: John Kerry and the Vietnam War, on which the movie is based. Actress Jennifer Aniston co-sponsored the event but is not attending.
