For those of you (like me) who have missed Impetuous in Oakley, there's great news. It's back - in a great new pet-friendly location on Wasson Road, just in time to celebrate the shop's fourth anniversary.
The store is filled with innovative and necessary items for dogs and cats. Especially well-known for her selection of toys, owner Kristie Clifford has out done herself with a big, fluffy wart hog with two kinds of squeakies.
"If you can find it at Pet Smart, you're not going to find it here," says Clifford.
There are great puppy purses, custom dog beds in fabulous fabrics being snapped up by interior designers, healthy brands of pet food, leads and collars, gift cards and more.
"The Greenies are wonderful," says customer and Hyde Park resident Christy Borneman of the algae-green chews that clean teeth and freshen doggie breath. "I love my Greenies, for my two Wheatons."
