Promotions and new on the job

• Lamour Hudson has joined GBBN Architects as an architect. Hudson earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from Miami University. In addition, he minored in urban and regional analysis. He is currently working on the firm's Performing Arts Center project in Miami, Fla.

• Mark Miller has joined Group Realtors and formed cincyland.com. It is the area's first and only entity specializing in land sales and homes with acreage.

• Judi Young has joined Eagle Realty Group, a commercial real estate services and investment firm in Cincinnati, as administrative specialist, facilities management area.

• Angela Griffin-Jones has been appointed vice president for enrollment management at Thomas More College and Dr. Judith A. Marlowe is vice president for institutional advancement.

• Rebecca Allen has been named manager of radiology services at CMH Regional Health System.

• Philanthy Nichols has joined IDeACOM Cincinnati, provider of health care communications and telecommunications systems integration, as account manager. Nichols will lead IDeACOM's efforts to provide nurse-patient and other health care communications systems to health care facilities throughout Greater Cincinnati.

• Lisa Braun has joined the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museumas marketing and development manager; Carrie Gravlee is education and programming manager; and Chris Eckes is visitor services manager.

• The following program directors at KnowledgeWorks Foundation have been named vice presidents: Harold Brown, school improvement program; Barbara Diamond, communities and school facilities program; and Brett Visger, college and career access program.

• Named assistant vice presidents at Fifth Third Bank are: Robert R. Ranzau, Christian L. Rieddle, Jennifer Bishop, Elizabeth Andrews, and Christopher S. Bell. Named assistant cashiers are: Mark Fiddes and Heather K. Kreitzer.

• Preston M. Combs has joined CDS Associates Inc., Engineers, Architects, Planners, and Surveyors, as project manager in the government consulting group. Combs served as the city of Middletown's Public Works director for 12 years and assistant city manager for the past three years before his retirement. He has 30 years of local government experience. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati.

• Deana C. Huneke has joined the Cincinnati office of Ulmer & Berne LLP as a litigation paralegal in the product liability group, where she is working with the hormone replacement therapy defense team.

• Jason Ackerman has been named revenue sharing project manager at GE Aircraft Engines.

• Mark Suellentrop has been appointed director, field sales at PediaMed - The Pediatrics Co., which specializes in health and well being of children.

• Susan Santos has been named senior manager for community-based services at Cincinnati Area Senior Services.

• Jason Barrott has been appointed director of market development for Aurora Casket Co. Barrott will be responsible for directing and managing the marketing efforts for all the caskets, cremation urns and displays. He will oversee all of Aurora's advertising, media relations, public relations, product promotion and market research. He is a fifth-generation member of the family that founded the company in 1890 and continues to own and manage the company.

Awards

• Phillip R. Shriver, president emeritus of Miami University, has been chosen as this year's recipient of the Cincinnati Society of Association Executives Statesman Award. Shriver served as MU's president 1965-81.
