One of the city's most diverse neighborhoods will celebrate Election Day with a party.
Northside Celebrates Voting will be held from noon to 10 p.m. Tuesday in a big tent at Hamilton Avenue and Lingo Street in the Northside business district.
A variety of musical acts - blues, classic rock, Celtic, hip-hop, alternative, folk, pop and reggae - will perform. After the tent party, some of the bands will play in neighborhood bars and pubs. The event is sponsored by Heidelberg Distributors, Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati and the Cinergy Foundation.
No bus route changes for Tues.
Metro buses will operate on a regular schedule with regular fares for Election Day on Tuesday. Access service for people with disabilities will also run its regular schedule and fares for Election Day.
