Northside Celebrates Voting will be held from noon to 10 p.m. Tuesday in a big tent at Hamilton Avenue and Lingo Street in the Northside business district.

A variety of musical acts - blues, classic rock, Celtic, hip-hop, alternative, folk, pop and reggae - will perform. After the tent party, some of the bands will play in neighborhood bars and pubs. The event is sponsored by Heidelberg Distributors, Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati and the Cinergy Foundation.

No bus route changes for Tues.

Metro buses will operate on a regular schedule with regular fares for Election Day on Tuesday. Access service for people with disabilities will also run its regular schedule and fares for Election Day. Veterans Day speaker at library

Tom Anderson of Dent, a combat-wounded and much-decorated World War II veteran, will represent Cincinnati-area veterans as guest speaker at the Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County's 50th annual Veterans Day program. Anderson, an Army Ranger, was 21 in February 1945 when he lost his left hand and the fingers of his right hand trying to disarm a German booby trap outside Cologne. He earned the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. The ceremony at the main library downtown will begin 10:45 a.m. Nov. 11 with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department Bagpipe and Drum Corps and the 70-member Walnut Hills High School Choir. The event is free.
