Springfield Twp. to open firehouse
The Enquirer SPRINGFIELD TWP. - The township will dedicate a new 32,000-square-foot administration and fire headquarters today. The 10:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony will be followed by an open house. Construction started last year on the complex, located next to the administration building on Winton Road, and finished under the $5.6 million budget. The new complex has five truck bays and training area for the fire department's 100-member staff.
