No. 16 Mount St. Joseph remains unbeaten

Running backs Ricky Story and Mike Lovell combined for three touchdowns to lead No. 16 Mount St. Joseph to a 31-21 victory over Anderson (Ind.) Saturday.
Story, a Western Hills graduate who had 98 yards rushing on 24 carries, scored on runs of 3 and 17 yards. Lovell, a Lakota West graduate who rushed for 134 yards on 29 carries, added a 7-yard TD as the Lions (9-0, 6-0 Heartland Conference) totaled 312 yards on the ground.
Bryan Hamrock (South Dearborn) completed 12 of 22 passes for 135 yards for Mount St. Joseph, hitting Don Haggard on a 19-yard touchdown pass that turned a three-point lead into a 24-14 advantage over Anderson (4-5, 2-3) early in the fourth quarter.
Rockford 20, Thomas More 17, OT
ROCKFORD, Ill. - Thomas More fell below .500 at 4-5 with the overtime defeat.
TMC will try to prevent its first losing season since 1998 when the Saints host unbeaten Mount St. Joseph on Saturday in Bridge Bowl IX. Thomas More has never lost to the Lions in the eight-year series.

Story lines: Thomas More is 8-0 in Bridge Bowls. Mount St. Joseph, No. 16 in the coaches' Division III poll, will attempt to complete its first undefeated regular season.
Ohio Northern 23, Wilmington 6
WILMINGTON, Ohio - Corey Minnfield threw two touchdown passes and Zach Weber scored on an 85-yard run to lead Ohio Northern over Wilmington.
Minnfield completed 27 of 44 passes for 305 yards without an interception, throwing touchdown passes of 1 yard to Mike Paulus and 9 yards to Brian Lee for the Polar Bears (7-2, 6-2 Ohio Conference).
Weber finished with 130 yards rushing on 19 carries.
Wilmington (3-6, 3-5) was limited to 23 rushing yards on 35 attempts. Corey Smith completed 12 of 26 passes for 179 yards, and Andrew Hamel was 3-of-11 for 26 yards.
Mount Union 34, Muskingum 7
ALLIANCE, Ohio - Top-ranked Mount Union broke a 7-7 tie with 27 fourth-quarter points to beat Muskingum (1-8, 1-7 Ohio Conference) and extend its Division III regular-season win streak to 103.
Zac Bruney's right arm provided the first three touchdowns in the final period for the Purple Raiders (9-0, 8-0), who also won their 93rd straight conference game.
Bruney, who completed 12 of 18 passes for 224 yards with one interception, had touchdown passes covering 5, 68 and 24 yards.
