Turn on TV, hear his music
Musician, former Cincinnatian and School for Creative and Performing Arts grad Peter "Peas" McEvilley is making quite the name for himself in the music business, thanks to a new CD of loungy electronica (Filters, Domo Records; $12.98) and a lot of airplay on TV. Two of the tracks from Filters ("In Spite of Me" and "I'm on Fire") will show up Friday on 8 Simple Rules (8 p.m., Channels 9, 22). Another one was heard on the Oct. 27 CSI: New York. And there's more: MTV has licensed various tracks for future editions of Road Rules, The Real World and Allstar Challenge. Several ABC soaps also use his music.
