Forget about Seven. Forget about Earl. The new name in jeans is Salt Works, and they're here.
Your basic blue jean with stretch, Salt models come in three styles - each named for a Manhattan street - with a variety of subtle washes, rises, pockets and legs. They retail for around $125 and are available at Suki in Hyde Park.
Designer Steve Greenfield, a jean impresario with 12 years of "contemporary jean experience," says customers wanted a clean, sexy jean with less extreme details and logo overkill. He delivered classic, timeless style - not to mention a fit for both boyish and womanly bodies.
Watch for jackets, skirts, shirts and a men's collection in the spring.
