The Cincinnati Enquirer offers 12-week paid internships, primarily during the summer. You will work with experienced journalists, contributing regularly to the daily and Sunday newspapers. It's real work, not busy work.
Before you arrive, you'll be contacted by a professional colleague who will help you get settled - and provide a ready ear while you're here.
Editors and reporters will conduct regular seminars about the fine points of your trade. You'll learn more about the newspaper as a whole, too.
You'll work closely with editors on each assignment and meet regularly with a supervisor to discuss your work. We'll ask you to evaluate us, too.
The Enquirer has a circulation of about 205,000 daily and 350,000 Sunday. Its six editions reach parts of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
Greater Cincinnati, with 1.5 million people, offers a small-city feel with big-city amenities. The city itself is composed of compact neighborhoods, offering a variety of housing choices. Entertainment ranges from arts to sports to popular music and theme parks. Outdoor opportunities are plentiful.
For more information on the region, visit Cincinnati.Com, a joint venture of The Cincinnati Enquirer and The Cincinnati Post.
