READING - An assistant football coach at Reading High School was in custody today after being arrested earlier this week and charged with three counts of rape of a 13-year-old student.
Brian Dragisic, 34, of the 600 block of Dottie Court in Reading is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center on $600,000 cash bond, said John Esther, spokesman for the Hamilton County Prosecutor's office. Reading Police are continuing their investigation.
Reading Superintendent Scott Inskeep said Dragisic was hired as an assistant football coach in August and was working as a volunteer track coach at the school. Inskeep said the girl had recently made allegations of rape against Dragisic to a school guidance counselor. The counselor contacted Hamilton County Children's Services officials, who interviewed the girl and notified Reading police. They arrested Dragisic Tuesday.
