Mount Orab -- Some Brown County residents are cleaning up damage today after a tornado touched down four miles northwest of Mount Orab yesterday evening.
"There was damage to a home that had about 20 percent to 30 percent of its roof peeled away," said Jeff Sites, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Wilmington. "And there was minor damage to two mobile homes."
No one was injured.
The tornado hit the area about 8:30 p.m. The tornado was classified as an F1 storm, the second weakeast type of Tornado with wind speeds of between 73 and 112 miles an hour, Sites said.
